...is a doctoral student in Evaluation , Measurement and Research at Western Michigan University. She earned her Master’s degree in Higher and Adult Education with a concentration on Counseling. Her interests focus on measurement and applied research
as well as cross-cultural evaluations.

Bianca Montrosse ...

... is currently a doctoral student in Evaluation and Applied Methods at Claremont Graduate University, School of Behavioral and Organizational Sciences. She earned her Master’s degree in psychology with a co-concentration in Organizational Behavior and Program Evaluation from Claremont Graduate University. For the last three years, she has worked as both an internal and external evaluator examining the impact of health care, educational, and judicial programs. Her areas of interest include cross-cultural evaluation , evaluation theory and methodology , and creative teaching practices.

Chris L. S. Coryn ...

...earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Social Psychology from Indiana University. He began his doctoral studies in Interdisciplinary Evaluation at Western Michigan University in 2004. He has 4 years of experience as an evaluator and has completed or participated in over 25 research and evaluation projects. Mr. Coryn has received several honors and awards recognizing his research and evaluation efforts, including the James R. Haines Award for Outstanding Research in Psychology (2002), the SMART Merit Award for Outstanding Research (2003), and the Indiana University Award for Excellence in Graduate Research (2004). His work has been published in Social Justice Research, International Criminal Justice Review, Journal of MultiDisciplinary Evaluation, and Current Research in Social Psychology. He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Multidisciplinary Evaluation. Currently, he works on the National Science Foundation's Advanced Technological Education program evaluation being conducted by The Evaluation Center at Western Michigan University.

 

Tola Ewers ...

... is a first-year graduate student in the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Education's Department of Curriculum and Instruction. As she has explored her interest in curriculum development for adult learners, she has recognized the important impact which formative and summative evaluations can have on the entire curriculum development process . Additionally, her role as a conference coordinator for the UW's Office of Continuing Medical Education requires the utilization of evaluation as a key component in the planning strategy.

Daniela C. Schröter ...

... belongs to the first cohort of doctoral students in the Interdisciplinary PhD in Evaluation at Western Michigan University and works as a doctoral research associate in The Evaluation Center. She has 2 years of evaluation-specific experience and is currently involved in the National Science Foundation's Advanced Technological Education program evaluation . Daniela is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Multidisciplinary Evaluation (JMDE). She has a strong teaching record in foreign languages, negotiation trainings, and intercultural communications, and has edited two books: an anthology in intercultural business communications and a novel.
Daniela earned her master's degree from Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, Germany in Intercultural Business Communications, German as a Foreign/Second Language, and American Studies.

Ariana Brooks ...

... is a doctoral student in the social psychology program . She holds a B.S in psychology from UCLA and received her Master’s in psychology from CGU this year. Her research interests are in ethnic/racial identity development, drug abuse prevention, media (specifically anti-drug campaigns and rap music) and program evaluation .

Patrick A. Serumola ...
... is pursuing a PhD (ABD) in Instructional Design , Development and Evaluation at Syracuse University. He currently works as an Evaluation Intern in the Research and Evaluation Unit of Syracuse University Project Advance. He also consulted internally and externally as an evaluator for both educational and corporate settings. His research interests include the impact of information technology in organizations, Human interactions in Computer Mediated-Communication Environments, Program Evaluation, Activity Systems Theory and Policy Analysis.

Tanya Brown ...

Tanya Brown is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Duquesne University. She is also a fellow in the American Evaluation Association/Duquesne University Diversity Internship program. Currently she is working on an ethnographic evaluation of a community initiative. Her interests include qualitative methods , collaborative and participatory evaluation, and critical theories in the human sciences.
