The
Chair's responsibilities include:
- providing
AEA Graduate Student and New Evaluators leadership;
- representing
the AEA GS & NE;
- presiding
over meetings, nominations for Board positions, and election of
Board members;
- signing
correspondence;
- supervising
implementation
of AEA GS & NE programs and budget; and
- performing
such other functions as necessary
for the conduct of business.
If
the Chair is unable to complete his/her term of office, and a Co-Chair
is not in office, the Immediate Past Chair and Chair-Elect jointly
share the Chair's responsibilities. The Chair-Elect is responsible
for assisting the Chair with leadership of the AEA GSA, assisting
with development of AEA GSA activities, and representing the AEA GSA
at the request of the Chair.

The
Chair-Elect will serve for one year immediately prior to his/her
term as Chair (once elected) under the mentorship and direction
of the TIG Chair. The Chair-Elect is responsible for assisting the
Chair with leadership of the AEA GSA, with development of AEA GSA
activities, and representing the AEA GSA at the request of the Chair.

The Program
Co-Chairs are responsible for activities related to the AEA Annual
Conference. Activities may include, but are not limited to:
-
developing
paper sessions, panels, roundtables, and the Annual Meeting, in
cooperation with the Chair,
-
reviewing
proposals at the request of the AEA Program
Committee, and
-
assisting
the Chair in promoting AEA GSA sponsored activities.

Mentoring
Subcommittee Representatives
|
Works
with the mentoring subcommittee and attends meetings to lay the
groundwork for the AEA mentoring program
.

The
Publicity Coordinators are in charge of getting the word out about
the Graduate Student and New Evaluators TIG and finding creative
ways to get students and new evaluators of AEA involved. This includes
to:

monitor
the TIG listserv,
-
change
subscription options for people as necessary
,
-
help
subscribers with any other problems on the listserv,
-
develop
and maintain the GSA website.
